These terms apply to the Parisar service — the committee portal, the resident app and the guard app — provided by IntelAct Private Limited, 102, Shri Sharan 2, Opp. Anand Niketan School, Shilaj, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 380059 ("IntelAct", "we"). By using Parisar you agree to them. If you use Parisar on behalf of a society, you confirm the society's managing committee has authorised you to do so.
1. What Parisar is
Parisar is software for managing a co-operative housing society or resident welfare association: billing and receipts, double-entry accounts, statutory registers and documents, gate security, notices, complaints, amenity bookings and events. Parisar produces records and documents; it does not file returns, appear before a Registrar or act as the society's accountant, auditor or lawyer.
2. Accounts
- Committee and staff accounts are created by the society's administrator. Resident accounts are created by invitation or by a join request the committee approves.
- Residents sign in with a one-time code sent to their email. Keep your email account secure; a code sent to it signs in as you.
- Guard accounts are tied to a gate device the society pairs. Do not share device PINs.
- You may delete your account at any time (how).
3. The society's responsibilities
- The society is responsible for the accuracy of the members, units, bills and registers it records, and for its own statutory filings and compliance.
- The society controls who holds which role and what each role can see and do.
- The society is responsible for the retention period it sets for visitor records and for using those records lawfully.
- Money residents pay by direct UPI goes to the society's own bank account. IntelAct does not hold society funds.
4. Payments through the app
- Residents pay maintenance by UPI to the society's own UPI ID; the society confirms each payment against its bank statement. Where a society also accepts card or netbanking payments, these are processed by Razorpay under its terms. IntelAct is not a bank or a payment system operator and does not store card details.
- A payment is recorded against a bill when the society, or for card and netbanking payments the payment provider, confirms it. Disputes about a bill are between the resident and the society.
- Refunds of amounts paid to a society are made by the society under its own rules.
5. Packages, quotes and fees
- The Free package is available to every society without charge.
- Paid packages (Community+, Finance, Complete) are priced per unit per month, excluding GST, with a minimum monthly fee for small societies. Every society receives a written quote before anything is charged; there is no public rate card.
- Fees are invoiced to the society by IntelAct with GST as applicable. If fees remain unpaid after the period stated in the quote, paid modules are suspended and then disabled; the Free package and the society's data remain available.
- Prices for a term stay fixed for that term. We give notice before a renewal price changes.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not use Parisar to harass, defame or discriminate against anyone, or to post content you do not have the right to post.
- Do not attempt to access another society's data, another user's account, or the service's infrastructure.
- Do not use the gate features to record visitors for purposes other than the society's security.
- The society's committee may remove content and suspend accounts within its society; IntelAct may suspend access that breaches these terms.
7. Your data
- The society owns its records. A society can export its member register, ledger and statutory registers.
- Personal data is handled as described in the privacy policy.
- If a society stops using Parisar, it may request an export of its data. After a wind-down period we delete the society's data except where the law requires retention.
8. Availability and support
- We work to keep Parisar available and to fix defects promptly, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Planned maintenance is announced in advance where practical.
- If Parisar reports that something failed — a payment, a notice, a scheduled job — treat it as failed; the software is designed not to show success it cannot verify.
- Support is provided to the society's committee. Residents should contact their committee first.
9. Intellectual property
Parisar, its apps, designs and documentation belong to IntelAct. Societies and users receive a licence to use them under these terms; content you post remains yours, with a licence to us to display it within your society.
10. Liability
[Limitation of liability, indemnity and warranty language — to be settled with counsel.] Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Indian law.
11. Termination
A society may stop using Parisar at any time by notifying us; a resident may delete their account at any time. We may end service to a society for non-payment or breach after notice. Sections 7, 9 and 10 survive termination.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Material changes are notified in the app and by email to society administrators before they take effect.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ahmedabad have jurisdiction, subject to any dispute-resolution process agreed in a society's quote.
